Clinical standards and data programming & technological direction
Jorge started his professional career as a System Analyst and as a Software Developer in 2004. He analysed, developed and tested software for different projects, such as the dam management in Portugal, and for different activity sectors such as construction, energy and copyright. Jorge worked in IT Governance as a Consultant, and then as a Product Architect, having shared the responsibility for the processes of analysis, architecture, development and test of two innovative solutions in this area.
His interest for new professional challenges led him to clinical research, for its high potential for innovation and development. Jorge has got experience in clinical data programming (SAS®), implementation of standards (CDISC) and in the preparation of data for regulatory submission (e.g.: FDA, EMA).
